Commissioner responds to Senate Committee’s question on EU’s Digital Services Act

The Privacy Commissioner of Canada has written to the Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications after receiving a question for additional information about how the European Union regulates the digital sector; specifically, the Digital Services Act (DSA). The request was made during Commissioner Dufresne’s committee appearance on Bill C-11, An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts (Online Streaming Act).
