Privacy Commissioner to testify before Parliamentary committee on Privacy Act reform

OTTAWA — Privacy Commissioner of Canada Daniel Therrien will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics tomorrow. He will discuss his views on the critical need to reform the Privacy Act, which applies to the personal information handling practices of federal government institutions.
