New web page offers Canadians advice on how to protect their personal information while using a wearable device

Wearable technologies such as fitness trackers and smart watches have become commonplace. Other eye-popping products are regularly being rolled out.

As useful as wearable devices may be, they can raise issues for the privacy of both users and those around them. These issues are important to consider as wearable computing becomes an even more prominent feature of our daily lives.

Our new web page offers some advice that could help you protect your personal information while using one of these devices.
