Commissioner shares his views on privacy considerations related to Bill C-21

Today, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Daniel Therrien, appeared before the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence on Bill C-21, An Act to Amend the Customs Act.

In his remarks, he mentions that the retention of information collected under the entry-exit program is important from a privacy perspective.
