Summary
This project involves developing and broadcasting a series of podcasts to counter privacy breaches. It seeks to simplify and benefit from the practical application of research results funded by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s Contributions Program.
This series of 18 productions (4 vignettes, 7 interviews and 7 reports) were produced and broadcast on three urban Francophone community radio stations – CHOQ-FM (Toronto), CIBL (Montreal) and CKRH (Quebec City) – as well as made available on the Web.
In addition, a special program was produced to launch the podcast series. The project’s approach is preventive, educational and informative in order to sharpen vigilance, equip and increase the public’s judgment on issues related to privacy.
